inverted baking normals?

hello friends its been a while since I posted here im trying to bake the hi-res data from an object I sculpted to a lower poly object for a project, but the normal seem to be reversed in places ive fiddled around with it for a while with no luck

I know that you can invert The Normal Map in the Cycles Material Nodes but i don’t know if that’ll work with BI.

part of the normal map is baking in one direction and the other in the other direction so if I flip one side the other side will become reversed

Is your low poly model in the right position under your high poly while baking? Maybe you can make it a little smaller?

yes it is ive tried making it larger also.

I think making it larger wouldn’t work, it has to be inside your high poly model, but i’m not an expert, sorry

Did you check the “Normal Map” box in the Image Sampling settings?
