Invisible ball

Hello hello,

I’ve been trying out the soft bodies and I have a cloth falling on a ball but I was wondering if I can hide the ball for the render.
Meaning I would like to have the cloth falling on a ball that is invisible.
Does anyone know is this possible?

Thank you so much for the help

set the material to ztransparrent, and set the alpha value to zero, then reduce spec values to zero

Thank I will try it out
cool!

I’ve just tried it.
It makes the ball invisible which is nice but the physics don’t work anymore.

My cloth is now acting like a plane and falls trough the ball with a black circle patch in the middle.
Any other suggestions?
thanks for the help

An easier way is to just go to the outliner and click the portrait icon next to the ball. This actually excludes the ball from the render, not just make it transparent.

Sorry for the bother.
I am quite new to blender and I can’t seem to figure out were this outliner is
thanks

To get an Outliner Window and keep your other windows, split your 3D View in half (right click the border and choose split). Then either press the Window selector menu (furthest left button on the header) and change it to Outliner, or press Shift F9.

oo
I am stupid of course I know the outliner window.
hahah
sorry
and by the way I tried what ndsguyxtreme suggested and it works just fine with the physics.
thanks so much
