hi everyone,
this is my first post here, im very new to the making of models…
i downloaded blender last week and have been learning it since then.
i watched/read a lot of tutorials bout it but i havent found a solution for my problem.
when i put hair on a object and render it, the “carrier” isnt rendered, its invissable…
so i keep getting bodys with hair but whitout a head, im sure i m just missing something but can someone pls help me with this…?
thanks in advance

ps: sorry if this is a noobish question, and sorry for the bad english…

Hi there.

In the visualisation tab of the particles, you will see a button called emitter, click that and it will render your mesh ( which is emitting your particles).

All the best.

When using the particle system this includes hair the mesh is not rendered by default. On the Visualization panel of the particle system under Render click the Emitter button, the will cause the emitter/mesh to be rendered along with the hair…

hey again,

thanks for the quick responce… and for your help…
i have yet another problem now, i have some trouble working with the hair, styling it and it apears to be coming through my headmesh, altho i have the “deflect emiter” button enabled… also the hair wont act realistic… any tips on this…?
thanks again…
