invisible = higer fps?

if I make an object invisible when an distance is reatch from the player, will that increas the FPS of the game engine?

is it an better ide’ to simply delete the object and add an new one when it is needed?

or is there any other even better ways to do an simpel LOD system for tx. tree’s, grass, etc, etc

Disabling all the scripts and physics (no collision mode) will eliminate that object causing performance loss quite well, of course also hiding will help too. Depends how heavy the object is (polygon wise).

Also you could have various versions of the same object (high-detailed, medium, low) to swap between varying distances.

how do i change the colision type inside of python?

yes the “invisible” option make too fast the FPS.
