IOR looks weird

This is the default glass shader, but the refraction looks a bit extreme to me.

Does your window have thickness, or is it a single plane?

The rays need to enter and exit the glass to get proper refractions, without the back surface, the rays are traveling as though they never left the glass.

You don’t need refraction on glass panes unless you see the edge/thickness of the pane. Search for glass here, and there should be several solutions. Basically I think the rightmost window is a single plane rather than geometry with thickness - meaning the slow speed of light goes on forever behind the glass rather than just while passing the glass.

It doesn’t have thickness. I will try that. The rightmost area is just space. I haven’t filled it in yet. I will check the forum if adding thickness fails. Thanks for the replies.

Thickness fixed it.
