I remember someone posted a very nice iPhone 4 .blend model here, or maybe it was a link to his site which had the blend there.
Anyway… if anyone know how to get that file i’d be very happy.
I’m just trying to render a nice wallpaper and wanted to include that model in it.
Yes i have, try it yourself and notice that not even one thread with an actual model is found.
I’ve been digging through all sorts of search/threads and came up with nothing.
That’s why i asked, not because i was lazy.
For some reason Blender is unable to import it correctly, you need to open the model in meshlab (by example, it’s free and open source) and re-export it in .obj , and then Blender can load it.
He he… maybe it’s a simple model to you, i’m a beginner and can’t make it that good, hence why i asked/searched for that model since it looked perfect and i really just wanted a nice item for my wallpaper.
How long would it take you to model/texture that iPhone 4 like his one?
@ Robsoie:
Thanks, i looked in that thread earlier but since the forum loaded so slow i never saw the picture with the link in it, and it actually was that one i had seen earlier.
You think you are not experienced enough but your problem is rather that you do not see how
easy it is to build. The problem is actually less difficult than you imagine.
It is more the question on how you approach it.
Technically speaking it is a cube without rounded edges and cylinders. Those are your main
geometrical objects.
If you have an issue building it post your steps here and I can direct you.
You will be amazed how simple it is once you understand how you have to star.
