Hey guys,
I have a game design class in college and our first assignment is to model an iPhone 4 and render it etc.
I dont know how he expects us to do it as the last thing we have actually done is put a texture on a cube.
Anyway, I don’t want a step by step guide to make it but I cant fathom how to create the curved edges on the iPhone.
I know I can make a few loop cuts, put in a rectangle. This is where I go wrong, I cant delete the excess around the rectangle.
Any idea how to overcome this?
Thanks

You will find a complete manual about modeling an iPhone on blenderguru.com .
( Just omit the smashing part) Chances are that this might be the source of your tutor as well

Try iWebKit . The person there has made everything for the iPhone in Photoshop. You can use that as a reference.

Add a cube and scale it to a rectangle, then add a subsurf modifier, set shading to 'Smooth and add edge loops to get definition.
