IPO actuater

Could someone point me to a tutorial on how to get this to work or just give the the gist of it. I made an animation for a character but when i set it up it doesn’t play. Thanks

You might of already known this, but since you joined Jan, Might as well )
When you say character I think of a person or something with limbs, so use armatures, which will give you the option of using action editor.

Animation for characters are actions and require an action actuator (not IPO actuator)
Also: parent the mesh to the armature.

Ok, i can’t seem to get it to work. Is there some file that has one in it so i can see what i am doing wrong?

OK, i figured it out now. I realise i had the armature modifiying the mesh instead of making it a parent.

Is there any way i could still use this without having to do all the weight painting again?
