I’ve been working hard on this one. Getting everything to look like the real object (an Ipod Classic) was quite tough. Texturing was actually really easy. I might make a tutorial Also I’m not sure why one of the iPod’s look like it’s floating in the second image. Might need some work on it, but anyway, hope you like it. (I might also turn up the reflection-gloss samples in later versions.)
its good, you dont get many comments on images that dont really need a lot of work, s be sad you havent gotten any comments (other than me of course) its just many people cant find anything to critique
The hole that houses the jog-wheel seems to be slightly distorted. Without seeing the wireframe i’m pushed to believe that you are using 4 vertices as the circumference of that gap. Using 5 or more vertices will give decent circular mesh - when subsurfed.
ipods are ubiquitous, and modeling them as stock doesn’t exactly give you much space to add a lot of personal touch. But it was good practice i’m sure
