O.K. thanks. I only tried irc once and I don’t have a client yet. Just thought I’d give it a try if there was one.

You don’t need a client. You can chat on #gameblender from the gameblender.org site. You have to log in to gameblender.org, then the option “IRC Chat” will appear in the side menu.
