Hi so im trying to add a sort of rainbow foil material to my packaging, and having a realy hard time, i got it working in eevee, but for some reason it just doesnt work in cycles, it should though. it seems like the layer weight isnt allowing the facing to work. This is a SS of the material working in eevee but when in cycles it bahaves just like a matalic siler shader. Super weird, please help asap

What does the SS means?
Try to change your Layer Weight node to the Fresnel one and check if it’s help you
I tried this, it didnt work, what im trying to achieve is a metallic irrodecense on the metal, so essentially depending on the angle your looking at it from it has rainbows morph into the matalicness of it. Ive done it before in a different manor i think but for some reason the layer weight just isnt working…
I just tested this method. with adding the emissive cubes, And used his method of plugging the layer weight directly into the color to make sure it works. There is no difference between adding a layer weight and not… everything else about the node setup should work. but its just the layer weight that isnt working at all… Does anyone know why that is? Can someone take a look at my blend file?
