Think about it, some kids these days get offered their own show, band, brand name, whatever by companies such as MTV networks and Disney, despite being paid tons, is all the stardom good for the kids?
Kids are supposed to be kids for one thing, you can’t do that when you’re busy every day playing your part in a show, and going coast-to-coast performing in concert. And then the network wants you to spend 5 months rehearsing for a movie, and then work to make another movie on top of that.
Do kids like that kind of life, where they can’t hang out with friends often, risk being blinded by papparazi, and be made to live in luxury in Hollywood? Is this good for them? What do they feel when they get serious temptations to work for racy entities and find they’re cash cows for the networks? Does it really impair their ability to think and make good choices because they’re famous? Is it worth every little slip-up you make making it on national news? Can they even have a lot of time to play and focus on their hobbies and interests between the interviews, movies, concerts, photo-shoots ect…?
