Is gimp slower than photoshop?

i normaly use photoshop, but i want to switch to gimp , but every time i try to use gimp it seems too slow , is it me or gimp is slower than pshop?

I’d say that’s the wrong forum but no, from my experience GIMP works just as fine as PS does.
However, what are you doing with it, when it slows down? It is not impossible that there are quite some differences between these two…
