Is it possible for me to split my PC into 2?

Hi,
My brother’s PC sucks, and I am sick of him wanting to use my PC, so I was wondering if it is possible to split my PC into 2, so I would connect 2 keyboards and 2 mice, and then 2 monitors.

My specs:
MSI ATI Radeon HD 5970 2GB P2D2G
AMD Phenom II X4 970 BE
8GB DDR3 1333
2x1TB 7200RPM HDD
And I have like 8 USB ports (so I can add another keyboard and stuff)

It highly depends on how you want to ‘split it’,please can you explain further?

By “split it” I mean have multiple users use one PC at the same time. So, basically, 2 mice, 2 monitors, 2 keyboards, 1 computer, 2 happy brothers :slight_smile:

Depends on what are brother’s plans on using PC. You could still use bro’s PC as a thin client connected by LAN to your PC. Fat games - no go, but internet, flash, things like that would work. I’m not sure any MS based virtual PC (VirtualBox, vmware) would use separate kbd, mouse if on one PC.
