Is it possible to warp the viewport to match panoramic render outputs?

I’m hoping to ditch 3DS Max at some point and move to Blender but I do a lot of architectural camera matching for planning permission panoramas and I need to know a couple of things before diving in.

Firstly is there a Blender equivalent to 3Ds Max’s warped spherical camera for rendering?

Secondly, in Max when using the warped spherical camera it only warps the render not the viewport so when aligning the camera it’s a case of move a bit, render, move a bit, render etc. Is it possible to warp the viewport in Blender to match the render output so I can move the camera and align reference points in real time?

Thanks, seems to answer my questions.
