Here is something I did, using a simple geometry nodes setup + remesh modifier.
Here is the blend file:
geo_nodes_organism.blend (1.1 MB)
It’s all modifier based, so it can all be hidden in the viewport. The geo nodes have comments on them explaining what’s happening.
