Ever get a crash in Blender that you don’t know the cause of and can’t replicate so you think “oh well, it can’t be helped” and just move on? Of course you do. But today I got to thinking, by ignoring crashes like this are we tossing out valuable statistical data that might help the developers? Would they find crash reports like this helpful at all? One would guess there would be at least some good that could come from logging these and looking for recurring patterns. Seems logical, but maybe there’s something I don’t know? Maybe I should be reporting such crashes somewhere? Maybe there just aren’t the resources to look into crashes like this or bother recording them? I just got curious if anyone here knows more about this - if so please fill me in. Thanks.
