Is it worth sculpting different tree models to get better detail?

Like the question in the title, is it worth it? or should I just create the texture and use that to make the normal map detail and other maps. This is going to be used in a game engine like Unity for example. The tree I’m going for is more of a jungle tree with some moss around. Which leads me to ask if I should model the moss separate as an addon to the tree model(s)?

Please any help will be great and fast, my tree is at nearly 3k tris and won’t be reapeated too much as I plan to make other trees.

check out the sapling addon. look up a few videos on how to use it. works great.

or do as i usually do, make alpha textures and use planes.
