I have a mesh textured. If you go edit mode and move an edge the texture moves with that edge (the texture goes stretched). Is there a way to move a vertex or an edge without the texture moving with it? (I was able to do this in 3dsmax but can’t find it in blender) :no:
It depends on what coordinates are being used for the texturing. If you’re using Orco, Global, Object, etc. coordinates, then the texture will remain in the same position. If you’re using UV coordinates then the texture will move if you move the edges. This is because UV coordinates are relative to the position of your vertices, edges and faces.
