Just a quick question, should I be able to search the forums with the ‘Search’ button? No matter what I type, I get no results. For example, “blender” returns 0 matches.
Didn’t see a FAQ about it, and obviously I can’t search to see if anyone else has asked about it!
Cheers,
-Andy

Funny, I get about 5200 results.

That’s what I would expect.
Just to eliminate pilot error on my part, tell me if I am leaving a step out.
Open the search page, type blender, hit search. The default options seem like they should be good. This gives me 0 results.
Are you doing anything differently?

5165, exactly.
Are you tiping blender in the topmost text box, without leading trailing stuff and are you logged in?

are you writing your query in the correct field? The one at the top is for the words you’re looking for, the one under it is for the authors name.
of course, if you type blender as the author, it comes up with nothing.

Duh, wrong field .
I’m going home to bed. Perhaps I just have a case of 24 hour stupidity, and I need to wait it out.
Thanks for the help.
