Is there a BLender 2.7 manual (.doc) anywhere?

I recently installed the latest version of Blender, but the latest user manual I can find is way back to 2.4, so I was wondering if there is any documentation available for 2.7. Also, are there any basic tutorials for this version for beginners? All the tutorials that I see are for specific things, but not really a general starting user. Thanks in advance for any help.

you definitely don’t want to use the manual for 2.4!
Tha changes from 2.6 to 2.7 are not that many and are covered on the release notes that Richard pointed out.

As for a good tutorial teaching from basics with no prior knowledge or experience…

A Fall 2013 offering from Tufts University is a lot better than most things I can think of. I’m working through it myself now, with the help of mostly searching and lurking here, to learn the software. It takes an estimated 80 hours to go through according to the web site. In the terms of a regular job, you could do a lot worse than trying to learn something as complicated as Blender and 3D modeling in two weeks.

So the answer is a big fat NO. Who is going to want to Jump into the newest latest blender that has a few million $ to spend? NO ONE.

What’s your problem?

All the things Richard linked to are free and you don’t have to spend a cent.(even the overview content on CGCookie is free, only some of the advanced tutorials are pay to view and they are pretty cheap to boot)

It’s not money you have to invest; it’s time.
