I have an issue with Blender 45 and later. When I do VFX and import an image sequence, all of them go from -248 to 1 instead of from 1 to 250. and the plan track does not work in compositing.
I don’t have this issue with Blender 43.
My solution was to open Blender 43, import the image sequence, save it, and then open it in 45.
I am on Ubuntu.

When you select the feature, it automatically sets the length.
It seems that only one image has been loaded.
For sequence images, you must use the A key to select the entire sequence of images when you import files.
I did it and I got these
in B4.5. if I frames offset in - I see the picture and in B4.3 everything is ok.
I don’t know exactly what the problem is with a small amount of information, but it can only be estimated.
If you want to check the cause of the problem, you need to attach the file.
It may be a problem only for that file.
If you look at the information in the File Path, you will see the last frame, which is why it is -119 frame.
If normal, the File Path first frame number should be displayed.
When I tested it with the sequence file I have, I can’t see the same problem.
Alternatively, if it is a reproducible problem, you can submit a bug report.

It seems that I use a snap version of Blender, I just install again directly from the official and nowadays all is on the road again.
