Is there a script using mist for depth of field?

I’ve noticed that in the game engine when running and showing just objects as solids there is a pretty good faked z depth there.

Is there a script out there that makes use of mist to fake depth of field or any other cool effects?

depth of field filters does excist if you meen that. Search around and you will find allot

No I was just wondering if there was one that specifically uses the mist.
Seems like it would be pretty handy.
