Is there a stacking order?

Is there a stacking order in Blender 2.49?b Per the images below, image 1 show my 3d scene, image 2 is the actual rendering. The Film Strip object appears on top of everything else in the scene. All of the objects are on the same layer, but I don’t think that matters.

The film strip is just a plane with a array modifier and curve modifier.

Cool scene, what camera type are you using?

Thanks for the reply / compliment Atom,
I am new to Blender, I’ve been using it for less than a month… How do I find out the camera type? I just created a new camera and positioned it, set up the world, mist star and added ambient occlusion.

Here is the beginning framehttp://donaldparkerii.com/3dHelp/arrayCurve/filmRender02.jpg

I don’t know if this matters, but I was able to replicate the image appearance in the view port Object>Draw>Draw Extra>X-ray.

Also should clarify that I am new to Blender, not 3d, used 3DS Max for a while a few years back.

…OK after messing around for the second day, the material for the film had Z- Transparency of 100. I did this so objects in the back of the film would be visible on the transparent part of the material.

I reduced the Z-transparency on the film material to .01, rendered and everything worked great.
