Is there a way in Blender 2.49 to convert particles to a .kf file?

So, I am developing a mod for Fallout New Vegas using Blender 2.49b and niftools, Blender exporter scripts.

Recently I wanted to create an animated bubble tube. My idea is to use a particle emitter to create the animation. However on the Niftools site, it states that the exporter scripts do not allow for exporting particles. I’m wondering if there is a way to convert the particles into real objects (meshes) and then convert the particle animation some way into a keyframe animation? I’m looking for some kind of work-around.

I have to use 2.49b due to the fact that the exporter hasn’t been updated in a few years.
