What is a multiple different objects? Do you mean selecting bunch of objects? You should be able to shift click then Shift-D for duplication.
I think there is an addon to turn a serie of objects into instances but i don’t remember the name.
I guess you know the alt+d to copy object as instance and shift+r to repeat.

klar I know about shift-d for duplication. Poly nut I will try those keyboard commands. I am specifically talking about choosing different objects ( say a tv and 2 speakers) and duplicating them in one shot. Polynut I will read the link you posted. Thanks
Then simply selecting and shift+D will duplicate them and alt+D will make instances of them and to finish shift+R will repeat it.
