Is there a way to apply a modifier after the object has already been rigged?


I’d like to apply a remesh modifier to an object I’m exporting to Unity, that has already been rigged & weighted.

The mesh is bound until the remesh modifier is applied, and when it is, it is only bound to the rest pose. Is there a way I can keep the weights and binding even after the modifier is applied?

no the remesh completly changes the mesh so all wieghts will be destroyed. you’d have to unparent the rig, then add the modifier and re rig the model
