Is there a way to have a frame rate of 29.97?

Is there a way to have a frame rate of 29.97?
This is the frame rate for export to NTSC and would make things much easier when doing post production in a program like Final Cut.
Any ideas?
Blender, at least in the Linux versions, doesn’t allow decimal places in the frame rate for rendering, only whole numbers.

first render to what framerate you wish and then use something like VirtualDub to change the framerate…

or the way I do all renders intended for video… if your editing software allows it render to a jpg sequence… then you have instant controll over individual frames and you don’t have to worry about framerates and you can leave that to your editing software.

dunno if there is virtualdub for linux but if not then propably something similar.

I usually render to 30 fps and then use another software to convert it to 29.97 fps.

Would be nice if Blender would take decimals.

Thanks guys. Final Cut itself will convert the frame rate, but I was feeling as Martin, would be great if Blender accepted decimals for the frame rate. I do plan to the a folder of frames for some projects. It just depends on the client and how savvy they are to using different file types.
