Is there a way to hide the grid in the 3D View?

I am finding it convenient to use the screenshot feature to shortcut making JPGs of my work, but I don’t want the grid to appear in the picture. Is there a way to hide it? Thanks!

For the perspective view turn off the grid display in the Properties panel (shortcut N)

Ah! Yes, I see. In the “Display” section of the Number Panel (NKEY): the “Grid Floor” check mark. Thanks, Richard!
