Is there a way to resample curves in blender?

Hello all you blender experts! I’m new to this software but not 3D in general… I have converted recently and am loving doing things “the blender way.” (for the most part, there are a few things I really miss but hey overall it’s great!) Anyway onto my question…

Can you change the number of points along a curve in blender?

I’m attempting to use grease pencil as a part of my 3d modeling workflow and would love to know if there is a way to re-sample the points along a grease pencil or regular curve. Basically I’d love to be able to freehand sketch my curves and then clean them up quickly for use as a part of grid fill or lofting. Houdini and Maya have the ability to keep the curvature while matching the number of points across multiple curves. Does blender have anything like this? I’m attempting to integrate this into a workflow with polygons so the final mesh will wind up being a subdivision surface.
