Is there a way to view from the lights perspective like in Daz?
I would like to be able to then lock view to camera so I can control the light that way
You can set any active object to be your “camera” by using the View → Cameras → Set Active Object As Camera.
Theres no camera option in view?
you mean N toolbar right?
?? My menu lacks “Create Camera From View” …
…and “Serch Camera”, which I assume is a typo, not a camera name. Are these from an addon?
It is an included add-on that is under
…that will add Create Camera from View as well as other things.
Hi RSEhlers,
it’s not from Stored Views but from BsMax.
Is there anyway to make it so that the perspective isnt so warped? When I do this it becomes like a very low foca length type of look as opposed to the default 50mm look and the camera in the scene is 50mm so i dont think thats the reason
I don’t get any distortion or warpage… so I don’t know what about your scene is messing up…But you can check the Automatic lens shift in the Camera settings…That is usually for archviz where you want the wall to be verticle without changing the view…but doesn’t work so well for close-up views…Set it to zero and things should be better…or if it is zero try a negative number like.61 or so…
