i’m new to physics in blender and i’m trying to make a necklace on a character that i’m going to animate. the necklace is made of a circular string of connected vertices and has geometry nodes to make it look like a necklace (i’m also very new with geometry nodes, be patient with me).
i want to give it physics and it needs to have collision with the character’s body, but as i understand, you can’t give singular vertices collision (or at least it didn’t work when i tried it).
right now my setup has a very thin (invisible) tube that has physics and collides with the body that the chain of vertices is shrinkwrapped to. it works okay, but is prone to shifting weirdly on its own. is there a better way to do this? i’m using 4.0
