Is there any way to pin tabs on the N panel?

Hey guys, i was wondering if there is any way to pin tabs on the N panel.
For example, I would like the ‘item’ tab to open at all times, no matter what other N tabs I open

Is there an addon or workaround for this, without opening a second viewport window?

You can’t pin whole tabs, no. But you can pin individual panels from those tabs by right-clicking the panel header and ticking ‘Pin’, or simply by shift-clicking the header.
