Is there any way to play video files in the 3d window?

I want to be able to easily preview the videos in texture mode, and be able to see them when I click the ‘render active viewpoint’ button, because when I do it now, it just stays on the first frame.

  1. Enable User Preferences/Add Ons/“Import Images As Planes”
  2. File/Import/Images as Planes and choos video instead image.
  3. Under Texture tab/Image, click “Match Movie Lenght” button.
