Is this good topology for a static tree?

Hello there!
Considering that the model would be used for low-end consoles, is that good topology?

Tree_Topology

It looks like this when textured:
Tree_TopologyTex

Thanks!

If you preview it also in the screen size of the target console you get a better idea. Say for example is mobile phone or something handheld, you rarely get to see enough high details in such low dimensions.

But in general terms if we talk about a retro style game this is the only right way to create it.

It’s beautiful, especially love the texture!. My only objection is that games use trigons, you’ve still got a lot of quads in that. Any quad can be split into tris two different ways, one is often better than the other, and relying on the automatic split can cause distortion. Best practice (so I’ve heard, I don’t do many game assets) is to convert to trigons in Blender and fix any splits you’re not happy with before exporting.

Oh, how droll. It is to laugh.

IMO if you used separate pieces for the branches, you could then reconfigure them into several different trees.
