(I don’t know why this thread was submitted twice. Please respond to this thread instead of the other one. My apologies.)
Good day folks.
I’m having a problem when attempting to import an Unreal .psk model to Blender. Whenever I import a model that has more than one material, all the materials come up fine and dandy --pskmat0, pskmat1, etc-- but not only is the entire mesh assigned only to pskmat0, but the meshes that were meant to be assigned to a material other than pskmat0 have no UV-mapping at all. An example was when I tried to import the Mosin-Nagant rifle from Red Orchestra 2, the rifle itself came in nicely, but the scope, which was meant to have its own material, was mapped to the same material as the rifle, and had no UV-mapping.
Toggling/untoggling the Single UV Textures(s) checkbox or any others in the Import PSK options turns up the same results. The issue also comes up regardless of what game I’m getting the .psk from; Red Orchestra 2, Alice: Madness Returns, Borderlands II and the UT3 mod Crubicle have all yielded the same problem.
I use V2.69 of Blender, and version 2.7 of the Unreal Engine Format tool (Which if I remember correctly, is included with Blender). If there’s any way to solve this or if there’s a better psk import script to use, let me know! I really don’t want to have to keep asking my friend with 3ds Max to import the models for me …
