Issue loading Python in Blender.

So I have blender 4.9, and I installed Python v 2.6.6 (I even tried 2.6.2) but when I start up blender it can’t find python. I tried reinstalling blender, but no luck. I’m thinking that python isn’t in the right place, but I’m not sure. Right now its in C:\Python26

I’m running Windows 7 64x. I have the 64x version of python installed.

Do not go in see with the old version except you want to use scripts, not yet available in 2.55.

the distributions of Blender 2.55 contain to my knowledge the suitable python stuff …
and it is already rather stable :wink:
