Issue with at least 43 out of 161 lights not being displayed in the scene, both in the viewport and

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue while using Blender 3.1.2, where some lights at the bottom of the Outliner are not being displayed when I have a large number of lights in the scene. In my current scene, I have a total of 161 lights, but at least 43 of them are not showing up. This issue occurs both in the viewport and in the final rendered image. Also, when I delete one light, another one starts showing up, as if there is a limitation.

Is there a limit to the number of lights that can be displayed, or is this issue caused by some settings or constraints? I have already considered factors such as GPU performance, but I am still facing this problem.

If anyone has encountered this issue before or knows a solution, I would greatly appreciate your advice.

Thank you in advance.

If you’re using Eevee, the limit is 128

Thank you for your reply.
That’s bad news for me. It seems surprisingly low, but how do you guys solve this problem? Is it possible to manipulate the upper limit?

Nope, sorry. It’s an OpenGL limitation. However, Eevee Next will remove this limit altogether, so you should just be able to wait for 4.0 or maybe even 3.6

Okay, that is a great update! Thank you very much for letting me know. I would like to deal with it now with the current constraints.
