Issue with Volumetric Rendering

Hi, all

I got a problem that when I render one volume fully inside another big one, it has a clearly cut edge of small volume. I use Voxel Data texture in both materials.

So how can I fix it? I have tried change material transparency type, but no lucky.

You don’t have to use the Voxel Data Type for each. Once you have a working volume you can use standard noise or cloud textures on secondary objects within the primary volume. If you are just “stress-testing” Blender then you have found a limitation. But if you are trying to get work done consider using a single volume with lighter weight textures within the volume.
