I am running into an issue and was hoping someone could help! In photo 1 you see an armature I am working on of a wing. In photo 2 the wing is spread, and in photo 3 it shows one of the other feathers closing the gap in the wing. To do this, the tutorial im watching suggests a copy rotation bone constraint. No matter what I do when I click the two bones I want to use and apply the constraint, it repeatedly places the constraint on certain non selected bones (in photo 4 the bone all the way to the right. Does anyone know how to fix this? I imported the rig with no mesh into a new file and I could get it to work, but for some reason I cannot otherwise. The blend file is too big to upload sorry.
Select your bone and add the bone constraint manually with the bone constraint tab in the properties window and see if that works. If not post your blend here https://pasteall.org/blend/ and give us the URL that results.
So oddly enough I appended it to another project adjusted it just fine and re-appended to the main project.
It would only let me select specific bones no matter which panel I was in at first, any idea why that could happen?
The only way I know when that happens is the restrict selection toggle is set for the bone. Weird.
