I've always wanted to know...

I’ve always wanted to know when you uv map something how do you make the material show through the bit of the texture so you could just add uvmapped patched do you have to use a .tiff with alpha settings or what?



Create a UV Map and then load your texture (the one that you want ot appear on top of the materials). Click “UV” under “Map Input”. MAke sure the texture is a .tga or some other format supporting alpha channels or the like. Hit CalcAlpha in the texture buttons if you have too.
