Ivory Tower, from "The Neverending Story" movie

I all :)!

This is my first WIP in blenderartists and I would like to get some pointers and some feedback about the Ivory Tower that I am modeling/compositing

The problem of this model is that I was not able to find more references than a bunch of frames from the movie, so many of the details are based on my imagination.

I would like to make this model as realistic as I can, in order to integrate it into a real footage (using the Blender motion tracker, of course :))

What do you think? I think that the “Ivory” material could be improved, but I could not find any “ivory” shader nor tutorial so far, other problem I have is the noise produced by glossy surfaces when I try to use a HDR map (in Cycles)

Maybe a good Ivory shader could be made using the new Cycles SSS shader, what do you think?
