jahshaka for ubuntu

Um I’m not quite sure how I should ask this but I’m fairly new to Ubuntu and I just downloaded the ubuntu installer for jahshaka but I don’t know how to get it up and running.
Does anyone know how to make the jahshaka installer install?

thanks alot

Idenheart: If you´re using the Universal binary from the jahshaka.org page, this seems to be a self-extracting gzip file. Open your "Applications–>Accessories–>Terminal and there just do a “sudo sh ./jahshaka-dapper-x86.sh” (or whatever your filename is. If you have a .deb archive (file ending with filename.deb) just do a "sudo dpkg -i filename.deb)

to start jahshaka, just type “jahshaka” in your terminal.

krizu

Umm when I run that command I get this error message.

bash: syntax error near unexpected token `(’

What should I do to get this working? Thanks.

I have Edgy Ubuntu if that has anything to do with anything.
