James Isaac Neutron (AKA: Jimmy Neutron)

I decided, just to test my character modeling skills, that i would attempt recreating an old childhood (and still, to some degree, current day) favorite.
Some pictures of my current progress.

As i’m looking at it here, i’m thinking that
A: his head is a little too far forward and B: the bridge of the nose and that whole area is a little to far into the face.

Working on them right now.
Enjoy!

The only to crit I’ll add is that the forehead is too long. Aside from that it’s good.

Okay. I’ll take care of that now.

And here we are, rigged and ready to go.

Enjoy!

The wrist and general area where the arm and hand meet looks a little too skinny, but so far this looks good! You might also want to use a texture instead of just flat colors for the eyes… here’s a tutorial on that, if you need it: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/Creating_Pixar-looking_eyes_in_Blender

If I recall, his lower lip sticks out a little more and his smile tends to be a little wider. And Tech Wreck, I don’t think they are too skinny. He has really skinny arms to begin with. I do agree with the eyes though. Anyway, nice job, looks good.

I think the only texture that is for the eyes is apart of the irises. None of the other reference pictures I used actually show an eyeball texture.

(and I can do the eye textures. I just kept it out because I couldn’t quite tell if there was one or wasn’t one in the images.)
