Jaw error

In my last model i put the tooths  but, when i rotate my jaw the bottom tooths hidden into the mesh, how i limit or put a weight for the bone in relation of the object (its a separate object from base mesh)

Looking at your screenshots the extreme rotation of the lower jaw probably has to with where the object center (which I can’t see in the image) of the teeth object is relative to the head or how you might have parented the teeth to the armature … or both …

The simplest solution I can think of is to join the teeth mesh to the head mesh (Object Mode -> select teeth first then head and Ctrl-J) and weight/include the lower teeth mesh to the vertex group for the lower jaw . You can keep them as separate meshes but make them one object so they have the same object center relative to the armature . That should keep the teeth from rotating too much like it is now .

I am making the assumption that you do not need them to be separate objects since I don’t see a separate bone to control lips or the lower jaw … actually if there was one that would be somewhat illogical since the lower teeth attached directly to the jaw bone in most humans (or humanoids) …

Thanks for reply.
Well, when i try join meshes the Blender show a message tell dont is possible join vertex groups (really, i did parent between the ‘head’ (cabeca bone) and the mesh of head).

These is the unique way to resolve the problem ?

Just delete the vertex groups in the teeth mesh first and then join …You can do that in Object Mode now … Just select the teeth mesh/object and hit the delete button in the Links and Materials panel in F9 (Editing) in the buttons window .
And once you have joined them then select the lower teeth and add that to the vertex group for the lower jaw (the part your highlighted bone controls) .

Just guessing here (because I have never gotten that error message myself) but maybe that is caused by the lower teeth sharing the influence of the same bone … ?

Not Vertex Groups, Shape Keys. If you don’t have shape keys it doesn’t matter, just join them.

Another thing you can do is WeightPaint only the Vertices that you will see moving; the rest of the jaw will be hidden and doesn’t have to move (unless you are rigging the character for a dentist scene)
