Hi all,
I’m busy with a model plane sim for control-line aerobatics to teach some perspective. Control-line model planes fly around the pilot on two lines and perform an aerobatics routine that has loops either way, squares, triangles etc. The judges sit outside the circle, so it is not that easy for them to see the shapes as the pilot sees them. I reckon that a sim would help. I’ve already got most of the program working, but the jerky movement of the model gets to me a bit. Is this just they way PC graphics are, or is there a fix? I’ve found that when I track the plane with the camera, then the it works well, but then I lose the perspective of a fixed terrain. It seems that even basic shapes when moved across the scene from a fixed viewpoint seem to jerk, or have jerky movement.
Any suggestions? Thanx guys.
