Join/Combine meshes smoothly

Hi, am have been working on a character for some time now, and I made arms and feet and head- all separate objects. For the purpose of animating, I need to join the meshes to get clean smooth results. I am attaching two screenshots. I have tried boolean and it gives me some very ugly looking vertices. I have also tried doing it all manually but is very difficult and it will just not work right, I am looking for a quicker solution if there is one. Simply joining the meshes with CTRL+J won’t do either because I can’t have the edges that sharp. I apologize in advance for my English, it is not my native language.


I don’t think there is an easy way to do this. Only metaballs can join automatically. You have to rework your topology and join them manually.
