Joining META items?

Hi, forum.

I am very new to Blender and would like to join Meta Objects together in order to rotate them together for a short video clip. When I attempt, it says that these types of items can be joined.

I have tried grouping them, but when I rotate them in animation mode, they rotate independently. These pieces do not need to move… I want them to function together as one solid object.

Any ideas? I’m on a tight deadline and desperate for help.

Hey Kidd,

Welcome to BA! One possible choice would be to create a new empty, then select your meta objects, select your empty, then press Control-P to parent the Meta objects to the empty. You should then be able to move and rotate the empty, and the metas will follow. Hope it helps!
