Joining objects problem

Hello Friends,
I am new in blender
I am working on a human mesh. it consist of different objects like arm, legs, chest etc. i join them all to make a single object. but the problem is that the vertices of objects did not connect properly. As you can see in image , i highlighs the vetices with B command. but the vertices are not connected at the joining place of these two objects.
can any body help me in this regard ?

If the vertices you want to join or “weld” together are very close to each other (or even “on top” of each other) you can:

  • select all vertices with A key (or use the Box Select (B) tool to select an area, just make sure you get all of the vertices into the box, i.e. use Wireframe mode)
  • hit W and select “Remove Doubles” from the appeared menu
  • optionally hit F6 and tweak Merge Distance for Remove Doubles command if some of your verts are a bit further apart than default Merge Distance

If your vertices are far from each other (i.e. at the distance of one faceloop), but both edgeloops you want to join have the same amount of vertices:

  • select boundary edge loop of the first part by Alt + RMB over one of its edges
  • add boundary edge loop of the second part to selection by Shift + Alt +RMB over one of its edges
  • hit W and select “Bridge Two Edge Loops”

This will create a faceloop between those two edgeloops. If needed, you can then get rid of one of the edgeloops by selecting it, hitting X and choosing “Edge Loop”.
