I wish to make a simple grass movement rig, using 5 joints and a plane with 5 division.
I did the rig, but I can’t move the joints, can only rotate them which doesn’t suit my needs.
EDIT: I did disable the manipulate center points, and now translate makes it rotate as well. When I slide the values in the translation, it does nothing.
Uncheck the connected checkbox in bone properties. Connected bones are not allowed to translate. Parent with Keep Offset.

By the way I’m setting up this anim for Unity. Does Unity care about the joints being connected, or I can leave it like this? Using the weight paint I did what I wanted to, the rig works fine. I’m just concerned about the separate joints.
